Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented part-time Copywriter to join our marketing team. In this role, you will craft compelling and effective copy for various digital and print channels, including website content, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. The ideal candidate has experience in writing for fintech/adtech/tech companies and a keen ability to adapt their writing style to match the brand's voice and audience. This position pays $30/hour and offers flexible work hours.
Reports to: CEO
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, compelling, and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and product descriptions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with OpenEnvoy's brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure it is free of grammatical errors and adheres to the company's style guidelines.
- Conduct research on industry-related topics to produce original content that engages and informs our target audience.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure the copy is visually aligned with marketing assets.
- Optimize content for SEO to increase online visibility and drive traffic to our website.
- Assist in developing compelling narratives and messaging for product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably within the fintech/adtech/technology industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to write in a variety of styles and formats, from short-form social media posts to long-form articles and whitepapers.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for optimizing content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation:
- $30 per hour
